Hello All;
Thanks to ScorpioProd I have been able to create a nearly perfect DVD from a 58 minute ToasterEdit production. I only have one final problem. When I have the DVD production loaded into DVD Workshop, the production in all respects sounds great and looks great. However, whenever I burn the DVD and then listen to the production, there is a 15-minute section of Audio that is at an extremly low level and at some places where the sound is a bit louder, it sounds really funny as if the pitch has been changed. This is only true of a 15-minute segment - the rest of the production sounds normal.

This 15-minute segment that I am talking about was actually processed through sound forge and it appears that the sample rate (If that is what you call it) is 44,100 HZ rather than 48,000 HZ that all of the other audio is. Could this be causing my problems ? This is the only difference I can see between the audio clips that work, and the ones that don't.

I am also unclear why the production plays perfectly when previewing it in DVD Workshop but doesn't work then the DVD is actually burned.

I tried it with another DVD creation program (DVD Complete)and received an error that the Audio/Video can't be conbined (or uncombined) not sure which while the DVD was being created. Could this be a clue about what's happening here ?

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would love to hear them and I will gratly appreciate them as I attempt to solve this final hurdle.I would like to get a perfect DVD created this weekend if possible.

I am looking for an easy, and painless way to correct this problem if such a way exists.

Tim

Hello All;
I have something to add. Just tried playing this DVD in my DVD-ROM Drive using PowerDVD-XP and the audio that didn't work in my stand-alone DVD player DOES work in the DVD-ROM Drive.

It sure could. You want 48,000 Hz (48kHz) audio for DVD mastering.
