Cache Files remaining

Is there a reason why my system would be holding cache files from a month ago?? I suppose I could "Clean Up Temp Files" but the last time I did that I lost audio on 2 projects I had on the system. Can't afford that since I have 4 projects on the system right now, all in progress. I just wondered why these files where still on the drive.

I alsways assumed these files were cleared upon exit of T2. Oh well...I would be interested to know.

They're supposed to be deleted when we shut down the Toaster, but occassionally aren't. Just delete them through Windows, they'll be rebuilt if necessary the next time you load a project.

Just like Scott said, just remeber to close VT, then try to delete. Any cache files left after VT, is closed can be deleted. These were probably left when VT software didn't shut-off properly.
