VT2 - keep it or sell it?

I have a VT2 and have decided to buy SpeedEdit instead of upgrading the software to VT4. From what I can read here SE does not require the toaster at all! Please let me know if this is true!
My only application is to do Video editing and titling so any suggestions, ideas would be appreciated.

SpeedEdit indeed does not require VT. You will loose the Aura app and the lightwave app (and with LWConnect and 3d Arsenal you might like having that) but these are optional items.

You will also lose a video I/O card. (Going SE only with no VT)

If you are thinking of going SE only, take your new monitoring setup(mainly how) into consideration.

During the first round of pre-order upgrades, VT[5] upgrade with LW 8 (or was it 8.5?) included not only the SpeedEdit with VT[5] but an extra stand alone copy, and was priced close to just a single standalone copy of SpeedEdit. Seems like a more economical route - more for the money to keep the VT.
