Scene detection ?

Is there any way to make the Tricaster Pro make clips on capture from cam tape ? or do I make a batch capture ?
So far a happy Tricaster Pro owner .... but aaaaa...... 16 x 9 - 16 x 9 -
16 x 9 support. Badly needed..:foreheads

It'll handle 16x9 just fine. It will show scrunched up on the TC's internal preview monitors, but pipe it out to a 16x9 display, and you are good to go.

Tried it out with 3 cameras and it worked like a charm, only thing is when I record the stream it shows up in the file description as 4 x 3, but knowing what it really is is taking care of that problem....... Unfortunately I made another problem ...Please see my post in another tread regarding TEMP AVI . seems like a lost file to me ,, and no answer from newtek.
