Designing moving lower thirds

Just wondering if anybody out there has used Apples Motion/ and or After Effects to create something for a lower third or background motion graphic and then brought it in to use in VT4? If so, I was wondering if there were any tips? I have dabbled in AE a little...love it, but unsure about file formats will work with VT4.....MOV and .AVI??
Any thing would be helpful

here http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74247 talks about building one on after effects. you can use AVI or RTV for lower thirds, haven't tried MOV but if i remember (?), vt4 won't import MOV's.
