hello,
While rendering a project - the video fades to black at some point in the project and will stay black for the remainder of the render although the audio is ok.
Since i moved to XP i have rendered several projects without problem, this is the first time i have incountered this problem.
I have tried several output formats as well as saving the project under a new project name but the same thing happens.
With every render attempt, The video will disappear at a different location on the timeline.
The TED project appears ok and i can play the timeline without problems, i just can't render it properly.
My temp solution was to put it out to DVCAM tape then capture it back as a finished RTV file. Then it will render ok.
I think the render process is getting messed up at various points in the project timeline when it encounters a cross fade. The video fades out but does not fade back up during rendering.
Does anyone have a solution to this issue?
I'am running...
Windows XP - with all MS patches.
VT2 bld 3890 XP version
supermicro P4DCE+ mb
dual 2ghz Intel processors
U320 drives and controllers
