Video editing gets religion as NewTek ships Genesis
And He stood atop the mountain, viewing his assembled flock, and with Great and Holy real-time Transition Effects did he broadcast unto them...
NewTek has taken the principles of market specialisation to the limit with its latest product, Genisis - a video production and output application tailored to the needs of Christian worship.
The system is graced with an eight-input switcher for cameras and video decks, and includes hundreds of dedicated effects, animated backgrounds *snip snip snip*
Gensis also comes with a real time jeying facility for those all-important Messages, and real-time greenscreen for perpetuating those powerfull religious illusions. FOr those lacking faith in their editing skills, the package thoughtfull includes a set of instructional DVDs, Praise the Lord.
It remians to be seen whether other manufactures will follow NT's lead. How about a Buddhist Poser (thousands of tricky medditation postures) = or prehaps archealoogists might dig up the very first landscape creation application. flock to the site below for more information.
