I am very excited about the new color coding possibilites. The manual states that you should be able to drag and drop from the color picker to tint files and panels but this doesnt seem to work. the only sort of color coding I could get to work was select clip properties and change color tint.
You should really be able to color code everything in Toaster, especially files in the speed edit timeline. with drag and drop from the color picker. I hope toaster will get more color coding options soon.

Absolutely!
Open color picker, pick your favorite color, and drag that color dot on top of the clip. This coloration can be done either in DDR, in File bin, or even drop a color on top of a module!
I cant get this to work in Toaster 5.

This changed slightly between [4] and [5]. You used to be able to drag from any color well in the Color Picker. Now you can only drag from the larger 'Current Color' swatch at lower right. I'm not sure if the VT docs were updated to reflect that change or not (the SE manual does document the current method.)
