I just checked the NewTek blog and saw the following:

Picture here (http://bp1.blogger.com/_0Gh99cdh9PM/SD8AA0pdJEI/AAAAAAAAADQ/702jkOCve4Y/s1600-h/LC-11_800x600.jpg)

It's a picture of the LiveControl LC-11 switcher. Looks to have 6 cameras, 2 DDRs, and a few other goodies to switch between. It also has effect switching. My question is how long will it take to get this for the VT5? I know the Tri-Caster is getting it in a few months, but something like this is really needed for the VT5. All thoes who do live news know what I'm talking about...

Any input?

I'm with you. I believe someone suggested that it would be ported over to the VT5 after the release for TriCaster. It's too bad that all of the focus seems to be on TriCasters but hopefully the LiveControl and other new products will eventually work with the VT5.

I want one for our VTs just for those Fade/FX buttons next to the T-bar. That will be so nice... I hate when I accidentally crazy DVE wipe when I want to dissolve.

I don't know about hate... I wouldn't want to be switching without it, but the LiveControl panel looks like it has some very welcome improvements.

It will work on the VT systems from what I was told at NAB
