I am in the process of building a new PC for my VT5, which is currently using a VT2 board and I'm having problems finding a motherboard that is guaranteed to work with my VT2 card.
Newtek Tech Support's only recommendation (other than to purchase the newer VT Pro Card) was to post my question here. Does anyone have any experience with recent motherboards as far as getting the older VT2 cards to work reliably in them?
My other requirement in a Mobo would be to have at least 8 Sata connections on board. I was thinking of using a Q9550 Dual Quad processor preferably with DDR2 ram.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
