CG errors and freezing

Two issues:

1. When I open the CG I get an error message saying No Disk. If I click cancel 6 (and always 6) times it starts up anyway. I don't understand why that's happening.

2. CG was working fine, then for some reason whenever I change settings (fill, shadow) VT freezes. I don't get any error messages, but have to force quit the program. I can't even use CG now.

Any ideas?

I've had the same problem, but this is the work around that I have found. DON'T have CG and CG player open at the same time. That fixed all my problems. open up the CG do your stuff; then save; and close; then open up cg player. Oh and I also have both of them in different workspaces when I open then up. Since I've been doing it that way I haven't had any trouble.
