Editors, have you ever wanted to learn to harness the power of lw but didn't have the time? Then go and download all the avis, mpgs, and whathaveyou of a tutorial for lw. Then, play it back on your VT so you can watch on the external monitor and work on lwExpress!!
Edit a bunch of them together and you have an hour a day to transform your projects!

Paul, at some point it would be cool to organize the (future)gazillion tips and publish a PDF or maybe some kind of organized thing for quick T[2] user reference.

Seriously, for archival purposes, they Zip up really nicely, though it does take time...

Convieniently, the Toaster works with most codecs, and in fact, PicVideo M-JPEG is a prefered compression among many of us, including me. Great quality, great file size.

Toaster let's you use whatever codec you like. :)

Presuming, always, that your CPU can handle the compression and/or de-compression in realtime.

I was referring to transporting RTV's around on a CD; you can zip rtv to about 60% it's original size with winzip.

Yeah, we got that Paul - see my post about 4 above yours. The CPU qualification was in response to Eugene's comments about live encoding through a codec, not your Zip remark. :)

(I know it will vary depending on CPU, but in general...)
