Hello all,
Please check out my music video shot on Canon XL1 and edited with VT1/SpeedRazor. I am saving up for my VT3 host and software upgrade. Enjoy and tell me what you think.

Meaty. Low cliché count.
Music has lift, grunt, sympathy, grumbling charge and drive.
Could almost get me interested!
Nice piece of work. Looks like a medium budget by a high end production house. Certainly doesn't look like the modest way you describe it.

I like your color for the video! Cool look!!
Watched it all the way through.
Noticed some slomo in there but mostly
fast cuts. You needed another location.
Perhaps a car, basement, just another set.
That would have helped keep the intrest level
higher. Even a animated set via LW and
green screened. The video quality due to
the stream was hard to notice but I loved
the color. Shocked you got that out of an XL-1
found that to be real cool.

Good coloring on the wood 'n stuff. I have two XL1-S's and I'm not suprised at the effects at all. I don't think many know about all the advanced settings of the XL1 series. Nice job on the camera angles etc.
The chick needs less clothes. Probably need more chicks too! Since I'm not even sure why she's in the video, she might as well be close to naked or night of the living dead or something?
You don't show any of the band in close-up except the lead singer. Remember video is a close-up media. Right up their nose if yer so inclined. Don't be shy!
When the lead guitarist plays, and he's slashing (playing fast), a good angle is from the butt of the guitar up the neck. Over the shoulder looking down. Tilt shot up so the crotch is in the foreground ;-). Etc. Keeps the edge on those lickety licks.
Bobt also makes a great suggestion. Different sets. Location, location, location. The first one is very good!
Very watchable and nicely done. Keep up the good work!

very nice work. Looks great. Now, let's just hope the singer doesn't try to take up dancing as a career choice. ;)
